| Upon loading the
webcast is streamed into a buffer taking 5 -10 seconds for the
video to start. This buffer allows for the video to continue if
you experience a momentary drop out in your connection to the
server. Default Window Size is shown to the right.
If you are using a high speed connection this is the size window
you will see.

Some high speed networks may not allow the initial maximum
bandwidth need to quickly start the webcast. This will result in
the server viewing your session as a much slower connection and
provide a small
video display window.To
correct this you can define your connection speed in Windows Media
Player.
1. Click Tools - then
Options
(for embedded webcast page, right click on Windows Media
Player Window and choose Options) |
 |
| 2. Click
button labeled Choose Connection Speed |
 |
| 3. Choose
the speed closest to your connection speed over 256 Kbps
Click OK |
 |
| 4. Click
OK You may now reload
the webcast forcing the player to use a higher connection speed. |
